# Bordier & Cie

> Private Bankers since 1844. An independent Swiss private bank, owned and managed by the fifth generation of its founding family, operating from twelve cities across six countries and three continents.

Bordier & Cie is an independent Swiss private bank, founded in Geneva in 1844 and owned and managed by the fifth generation of its founding family. Its managing partners carry unlimited personal liability for the firm.

## What Bordier does

The bank is wholly dedicated to private banking, and has been since 1844. It manages, protects and passes on the wealth of private clients and their families across generations. It runs no investment-banking book, takes no speculative positions on its own balance sheet, and lends only against clients' own portfolios.

Its work sits in three offerings.
